1:32 a.m. today — Kara E. Maso, 27, of Butler was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence on Third Avenue. Maso also was cited for driving on the wrong side of the road and disregarding traffic lanes.4 p.m. Tuesday — A sport utility vehicle driven by Nicole Winters, 18, and a car driven by Richard Zapp Jr., 19, both of Butler, collided at North Monroe and East Penn streets. Winters was cited for a stop sign violation.7:30 p.m. Monday — Two Butler men face charges stemming from a fight at the French & Belgium Club on Heim Avenue that left one of them in need of hospital treatment.Christopher Sibble, 25, is accused of pulling Roger N. Daugherty, 53, off a bar seat. In turn, Daugherty allegedly struck Sibble in the face with a beer bottle.Officers described Sibble's injuries as a swollen left eye and cuts and bruises to the face. He was later diagnosed at Butler Memorial Hospital with a broken nose.Sibble and Daugherty were charged with simple assault.12:31 a.m. Saturday — Nathaniel W. Dahl, 26, of Summit Township was arrested for suspicion of DUI on West Birch Street. Dahl also was cited for making an improper turn. Dahl, who was wanted on a warrant, later was placed in the Butler County Prison on the warrant.
1:57 p.m. Monday — Rachel Downing, 26, of Freedom, Beaver County, and Jennifer Soose, 33, of Butler were caught shoplifting $236 in merchandise from the Wal-Mart in Butler Commons. Both women are charged with retail theft.4:30 p.m. Sunday — Jason Fencil, 35, is accused of illegally burning yard waste at his Woodrow Street home in Lyndora. He is cited for violating the township's burning ordinance.3:41 p.m. Sunday — A vehicle driven by Margaret Willcox, 56, of Butler rear-ended another vehicle at New Castle and Alameda Park roads. Willcox was cited for careless driving. John Duster, 41, of Butler was driving the other vehicle.
Monday — Police cited Meghann Kelly, 31, of Grove City for writing a bad check to the borough.
