Kristen Blencowe and Dr. Joshua Veith, both of Hershey, were united in marriage May 5 at Grace United Methodist Church in Corning, N.Y. The Rev. Constance Seifert officiated. A reception followed at the Watkins Glen Harbor Hotel.

The bride is the daughter of Clair and Melanie Blencowe of Corning. Parents of the bridegroom are Michael and Teresa Veith of Butler.
The honor attendant was Hailey Blencowe of Corning. Bridesmaids included Jennifer Pierson of Corning, Melissa Diethorn of Chevy Chase, Md., Leanne Chapin of Buffalo, N.Y., Ashley Veith of Butler and Jeannine Marong of Cleveland.
Performing the duties of best man was Dr. Steve Pichler of Chicago. Ushers included Zachary Veith of Butler, B.J. Tipton of Pittsburgh, Matthew Sharick of Pittsburgh, John McClellan of Chevy Chase and Bernard Johnson III of Westfield.
The bride is a 2004 graduate of Corning Painted Post High School, a 2008 graduate of Mercyhurst College with a bachelor’s degree in biology and a 2010 graduate of Chatham University with a master’s degree in physician assistant studies.
She is employed as a physician assistant at the Pennsylvania State Hershey Rehabilitation Hospital.
The bridegroom graduated from Butler High School in 2004, Mercyhurst College with a bachelor’s degree in biochemistry in 2008 and the Pennsylvania State University College of Medicine with a doctorate of medicine in 2012.
He is employed by the University of California San Francisco Medical Center as an internal medicine resident.
Following a honeymoon trip to Antigua, the couple is making their home in San Francisco.
