Ex-guard says thanks

I would like to thank all the parents, teachers and staff of Emily Brittain Elementary School, and especially the kids who kept me young for the last three years.
I, known as “Mr. Ken” at the school, enjoyed my time as a security guard and will never forget all the fun we had together.
The school district decided that it needed armed security in the elementary schools. A meeting was called for all the security guards and it was announced that we no longer were needed.
During my years at the school, I met so many wonderful, caring teachers, students and parents.
I hope that in the future those who see me out shopping will stop and say “Hi.”
