four years ago today,

May 27th.

When your mother dies it doesn’t matter how old you are.

You still feel like an orphan because you’ve lost your guiding star.

It was easy to take her for granted because you knew she’d always be there, until the day she wasn’t, and you

discovered life truly wasn’t fair.

Mom, will the tears ever dry?

I ask this as I wipe my eyes.

I’m told in time.

But I don’t think so.

I wasn’t ready to let you go

For everything we shared,

the dreams, the laughter,

and the tears,

I love you with a Special Love that deepens every year.

You made me who I am today, and I will always remember you in life’s passing, for no one could touch my life and heart as you have

You will live in my heart forever until we meet again.
