Mark Edgar

Mark Edgar, 56, of Butler passed away Sunday at VNA Inpatient Hospice.

He was born on March 13, 1958, in Butler, the son of Lona (Spithaler) Edgar and the late Robert Edgar.

Mark had worked as a machinist for General Electric in Grove City for 17 years.

He enjoyed going to flea markets and shopping on eBay. Mark loved building and creating in his machine shop. He also obtained patents for his inventions.

Mark was a loving husband and father and is survived by his wife, Terri Edgar of Butler, who he married on July 23, 1983; his son, Matthew Edgar of Butler; his dog, Lily; his mother, Lona Edgar of Butler; his brother, Monty Edgar of Chicora; his sister, Sharon (John) Hudson of Riverside, Calif.; his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Toot and Jake Orloski; his brother-in-law, Ed (Traci) Duffy of Saxonburg; his niece and several nephews, and his two great-nieces.

He was preceded in death by his father and his grandparents, Madeline and Lewis Spithaler.

Edgar — The friends of Mark Edgar, who passed away Sunday, March 16, 2014, will be received at the Young Funeral Home, 127 W. Jefferson St., Butler, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 4 to 6 p.m. Wednesday.Services will be at the funeral home at 11 a.m. Thursday with Pastor Richard Jenks officiating.
