Paul 'Wuzzy' Covert

Paul Covert

Paul “Wuzzy” Covert, 83, of Fenelton passed away Sunday at Good Samaritan Hospice in Cabot.

He was born on May 30, 1930, in Butler, the son of the late Ross and Effie (Pflugh) Covert.

Wuzzy was a lifetime member of the East Butler Fireman’s Club and the Happy Hunters. He enjoyed playing bingo, hunting and walking in the woods.

He had worked at Schuberts, Pullman Standard and John Clark Heavy Equipment.

Surviving are his two daughters, Irene (Ron) Cypher of Fenelton and Patricia (Brian) Angert of Butler; his eight grandchildren, Tim Coulter, Lori Bortmas, Kelly Gray, Ronnie Cypher, Jamie Shuler, Nicole Luchkiw, Basil Luchkiw and Joshua Luchkiw; his 14 great-grandchildren; and his two brothers, Art Covert of California and Donald Covert of Butler.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Eileen (Kennedy) Covert; his daughter, Paulette Coulter; his two grandsons, Billy Coulter and Cash Mills; his two sisters; and his brother.

Covert— Visitation and services were private for Paul “Wuzzy” Covert, who passed away Sunday, March 16, 2014.Arrangements were handled by the Young Funeral Home, 127 W.
