Raiders bow in OT

The Seneca Valley boys lacrosse team fell just short in its Division I-Section 2 opener against Pine-Richland at home Wednesday.

The Rams scored a goal in overtime to steal a 7-6 win.

Connor Byer led Seneca Valley (1-1, 0-1) with four goals.

Mars 12, Aquinas Academy 8 — The Planets scored 10 goals in the second and third quarter to break open a 1-1 tie in Division II-Section 3 play.

Zac Sicher scored a game-high seven goals for the Planets. Ben Lewis also scored two goals for Mars.

BaseballTy Reginelli drove in two runs, but the Mars baseball team’s late rally fell short as it lost to Pine-Richland 4-3 on the road.The Rams (3-1) scored three runs in the second and another in the fifth to take a 4-2 lead.Mars (2-2) added a run in the seventh.
