EASTER EGG HUNTS

Local communities will hold egg hunts this month. The following egg hunts are scheduled:

✓ 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. Friday,

Masonic Shelter at Alameda Park. The “Flashlight Easter Egg Hunt” is for toddlers and children up to age 10. The event includes clues to find the eggs, prizes, popcorn, hot dogs and the visit of a furry friend. Take a flashlight. Advanced registration is required. Saxony Health Center, 223 Pittsburgh St., Saxonburg. This free egg hunt includes breakfast with the Easter Bunny and is for children up to age 8.✓ 10:30 a.m. April 12,

CrossWay Church, 109 Davis Road, Valencia. The “Easter Eggspedition” is for children up to age 12 and will include carnival games, a bounce house, a fire truck, face painting, live music and performances, prizes and food. Take a basket. Nixon United Methodist Church, 334 Airport Road. Rain date will be 1 p.m. April 19. The hunt is for all children.
