In the past year, two anonymous cash gifts and a gift card have arrived by mail. With one was attached note with the handprinted message: “Love and warm wishes. God bless. Yours in Christ, A Friend.”

Someone must know of my financial struggles and stretching of the monthly Social Security check. The giver obviously does not want to be acknowledged, as there was a general postmark and no return address. All I can do is express my sincere appreciation for the generous thoughtfulness in the Butler Eagle and hope the person or persons will read it. Thank you so much and God bless you!
