SLIPPERY ROCK — Jennings Environmental Education Center, 2951 Prospect Road, will have a free outdoor program for children 5 and older, with an adult companion, at 2 p.m. May 4.

Participants will explore the forest and water in search of salamanders with the Jennings staff. They will venture into salamander habitats while learning about their life cycles, food and predators. Staff also will explain how to protect salamanders' habitats.

PENN TWP — The Penn-Glade Lions Club will celebrate its 40th anniversary at 5 p.m. May 3 at the Lion's Club House, 150 Church Road. Dinner will be at 6 p.m.The club is looking for addresses for former members, scrapbooks of Lions events and any memorabilia.To attend or share items, call 724-586-7660.

PROSPECT — A spring craft and gift show will be from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. May 3 at the Prospect Fire Hall, 373 Main St.Admission is free. The event will include a Chinese auction.
