Matthew McCune

Conlon Tarker P.C. of Butler has announced that Matthew McCune is an associate attorney at the firm.

McCune is a 2004 graduate of Butler High School and a 2008 graduate of Seton Hill University.

He graduated from the law school at Duquesne University in 2013.

McCune, 28, of Butler Township will serve clients from all aspects of the personal injury and wrongful death practice areas offered by the law firm.

Coldwater Creek, a women's clothing store, is going out of business.The store, based in Sandpoint, Idaho, has more than 370 stores, including one in Cranberry Township and one at the Grove City Premium Outlets.Store closing sales are expected to begin May 8.

EMLENTON — The Farmers National Bank of Emlenton has named Lynn Corner the assistant manager of its Cranberry Township office.Corner has been with Farmers for two years, most recently at the Grove City office.In her new position, Corner will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations in the Cranberry office.She has more than 13 years of banking experience. She will assist Renee K. Foust, assistant vice president and branch manager.Corner, who attended Fayetteville Community College, lives in Volant with her family.

BUTLER TWP — Dr. Paul Keelan will host Butler's first Dentistry From The Heart event, providing a free day of dental care to more than 65 residents without dental insurance on May 3.The event at 1022A N. Main St. is first-come, first-served so the line is expected to begin early in the morning. Keelan, with his team of volunteers and sponsors, will provide patients with a free extraction, filling or cleaning.Since starting in 2001, Dentistry From The Heart has grown to include more than 200 annual events nationwide and provided more than 45,000 people with free dental care services. NEW YORK — Walmart has introduced a new money transfer service Thursday that it says will cut fees for its low-income customers by up to 50 percent compared with similar services elsewhere.The service, which will be available starting April 24, allows its customers to transfer up to $900 to and from more than 4,000 Walmart stores in the U.S.From staff and wire reports
