6:06 a.m. Sunday — Katrina Heasley, 19, of Butler was hurt when she swerved her car to avoid another vehicle and struck a guardrail and Jersey barrier on the Route 422 east on-ramp at New Castle Road.Heasley was taken to Butler Memorial Hospital after complaining about left knee pain. Butler Township Fire District 3 assisted police.2:33 p.m. Saturday — Gary D. Worlds Jr., 18, of Butler faces drug charges after police were called for a report of people smoking marijuana and drinking beer under a culvert on Preston Drive.Police got there and found Worlds, who is charged with possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance and possession of a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.4:38 p.m. Friday — Georgia Ann Dollman, 51, of Slippery Rock is accused of removing $430 in merchandise from the Walmart at Butler Commons. She is charged with retail theft and receiving stolen property.Friday — Someone broke into a home on Sparks Avenue. The burglary happened between 6 and 8:30 p.m. Police released no other information.10:44 p.m. Wednesday — Police caught Todd R. Finucan, 35, and Chad W. Finucan, 30, both of Butler, with suspected drug contraband at the parking lot of Cav's Place in Lyndora. Both men are charged with possession of a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.8:11 p.m. Wednesday — Clint E. Weaver Jr., 37, of Butler was caught allegedly shoplifting $157 in merchandise at Walmart at Butler Commons. He is charged with retail theft and receiving stolen property.9:41 p.m. April 15 — Charmaigne D. Tack, 27, of Butler was caught allegedly shoplifting $89 in merchandise from the Walmart at Butler commons. Police said she was found with suspected drug contraband. She is charged with retail theft, receiving stolen property and possession of drug paraphernalia.1:30 p.m. April 15 — A vehicle driven by Robert Freemon, 88, of Butler crashed into a pile of decorative rocks at a driveway of a home on Old Plank Road near Pittsburgh Pike. Police cited Freemon for driving at an unsafe speed.2:32 a.m. April 6 — Ricky Joe Sackett, 39, of Liberty, Texas, was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence on Route 8. In addition to DUI, he is charged with two traffic control device violations.

7 p.m. Saturday — Sherry Rae Altmire, 42, of Butler was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence on Bonniebrook Road south of Route 422 in Summit Township1 p.m. Friday — An unknown thief used a 25-year-old Center Township man's bank debit card to withdraw $300 from an automated teller machine in Bucks County.8:59 a.m. Thursday — One person was hurt when a car struck the back of a slow-moving, road-cleaning truck on Branchton Road just east of Industrial Drive in Slippery Rock Township. Bonnie L. King, 62, of Mercer, who was driving the car, was taken to Butler Memorial Hospital with unknown injuries.Richard A. Dillaman, 49, of Grove City was driving the truck, which was traveling about 5 mph. Both drivers were wearing seat belts. Police cited King for driving at an unsafe speed.

March 30 — A burglar stole unspecified property after breaking into an apartment on Clay Avenue in Pine Township, Armstrong County.

2:12 p.m. Monday — Adam Lee Black, 20, of Grove City allegedly assaulted his mother and girlfriend at a home on Clintonville Road in Pine Township, Mercer County.Police said Black pushed 45-year-old Roslyn Ann Black of Grove City, and punched 18-year-old Brianna P. Kaufman of Volant in the altercation. He faces two counts each of simple assault and harassment.Friday — A wallet was stolen from a Grove City woman's purse while she worked at the County Market at the Pine Grove Square plaza in Pine Township, Mercer County

Thursday — Unspecified items were stolen from a vehicle parked in the 1500 block of Shaffer Road near Hell's Hollow in Slippery Rock Township, Lawrence County. The theft happened between 11 p.m. Wednesday and 5:30 a.m. Thursday.
