Butler High School will present “No Signs of Intelligent Life” as the all-school play at 7:30 p.m. May 2 and May 3 in the Butler Senior High School auditorium.

Tickets are $5 and are available at the door.

“No Signs of Intelligent Life” centers around poor, innocent aliens. Hungry to fit in, a little too hungry at times, they do and say things that we humans aren’t allowed to.

Laughter ensues as these extraterrestrials take the audience on a 90-minute comedy tour as they meet all kinds of humans: teenagers, rednecks, survivalists and the most enigmatic, tech support nerds.

Will these hapless aliens be able to figure out the daily rituals of dating, gossiping in the break room, camping or even fixing our computers?

Are Earthlings the intelligent life they seek? More importantly, could Earthlings help the aliens get home again?

The play is directed by Dale VanLaningham with technical assistance from Robert Harrison, Audrey Eberle and Jennifer Mariacher.
