Charles A. Nachreiner, 84, of Evans City passed away Thursday morning in the Village of Penn Woods Hospice, Pittsburgh.

Born April 23, 1930, in Pittsburgh, he was the son of the late Herman J. and Mary Siebert Nachreiner.

Chuck was a member of St. Matthias Catholic Church, Evans City.

A retired carpenter, he worked out of Carpenters Union 142, Pittsburgh.

Chuck served his country during the Korean War in the U.S. Army.

He was preceded in death by one son, five sisters and three brothers.

He is survived by his wife, Dorothy A. Schultheis Nachreiner; one daughter, Ms. Sandra Mitchell of Evans City; one son, Gerald (Carmella) Nachreiner of South Park; one sister, Ruth Clark of Cleveland, Ohio; five grandchildren; and one great-grandson.

NACHREINER — Friends of Charles A. Nachreiner of Evans City, who died Thursday, June 19, 2014, will be received from 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the A. Carl Kinsey-Ronald N. Volz Funeral Home, 328 W. Main St., Evans City.A blessing service will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday from the funeral home with Rev.
