Daum

Margaret B. Daum, 95, of Butler passed away at 4:20 a.m. Sunday at the VNA Inpatient Hospice.

She was born on May 9, 1919, in Butler, to the late Robert Ordel Crawford and Beulah (Dunn) Crawford.

Mrs. Daum was a homemaker. She was a member of the Faith United Presbyterian Church and the Order of the Eastern Star. Mrs. Daum was an avid golfer, bowler and reader. She enjoyed being with family and friends.

Mrs. Daum is survived by her son, John C. Daum and his wife, Nancy, of Butler; her daughter, Margaret Vorel and her husband, George, of Butler; her three grandchildren, Jenny Chapla and her husband, Terry, Michael Vorel and Alyssa Vorel, all of Butler; her seven great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Curtis Daum, who she married on Aug. 28, 1940, and who passed away on Dec. 4, 2001; her son, Robert C. Daum; and her three brothers.

North St., Butler.Funeral services will immediately follow at 7 p.m. at the funeral home with the Rev. Eric Park, pastor of First United Methodist Church, officiating.
