Robert M. “Bob” Lindner, 79, of Harrisville passed away Monday.

Born on Jan. 31, 1935, in Bauerstown, he was the son of the late George E. and Mildred (McElheny) Lindner Sr.

For many years, Bob operated a draw bench at Halstead Mitchell Corp. in Zelienople and was later employed by Singer Construction Inc. and the Butler Auto Auction.

Bob had a profound love for the outdoors, and in his free time he enjoyed hunting, fishing and collecting precious stones. He enjoyed working at the family farm in Cranberry Township with his brother, where he created many special memories with his family. Bob will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Bob leaves behind to cherish his memory, his brother, George E. Lindner Jr. and his wife, Carol, of Cranberry Township; his nephew, George E. Lindner III, also of Cranberry Township; and his niece, Robin Hay and her husband, Gary, of Economy.

Lindner— The Lindner family will receive friends of Robert M. “Bob” Lindner, who passed away Monday, June 23, 2014, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the Glenn-Kildoo Funeral Home, 130 Wisconsin Ave., Cranberry Township.A funeral ceremony in Bob's honor will be at 1 p.m. Friday at the funeral home with the Rev. Chris Suehr officiating. Bob will be laid to rest at the Oak Grove Cemetery, Shaler Township.If desired, memorial contributions may be made in Bob's honor to the American Lung Association National Office, 55 W.
