Monday — Police filed drug-related charges against two people found July 2 in a vehicle parked on Delwood Road at the Route 422 overpass. Megan L. Bradford, 20, of Bruin and Brandon A. Williams, 18, of Butler both were charged with possession of drug paraphernaliaAdditionally, Bradford is charged with possession of a controlled substance and underage drinking. Jason P. Shilling, 23, of Butler, who also was in the vehicle, was cited for littering.Monday — An unknown thief overnight stole a wallet and about $170 from a vehicle in the 700 block of Mercer Road.11:40 a.m. Friday — Ruth Robinson, 71, of Butler lost control of her car and struck a guardrail on Litman Road.1:50 a.m. Thursday — James Walborn, 34, of Butler was hurt when the vehicle he was driving rear-ended another vehicle on Route 422 at Route 8. Walborn suffered an unknown head injury. Police said Walborn is under investigation for drunken driving. Jason Kline, 33, of Butler was the other driver.

Monday — William D. Ambrose, 59, was reported as missing after failing to return to his home in the 900 block of Bear Creek Road in Winfield Township. Police said Ambrose walked away from his home at 7:15 a.m. By 10 a.m. Monday, he still had not returned and was listed as missing.He was last seen wearing a dirty gray T-shirt, blue jeans and brown work boots. Anyone with information about his whereabouts is asked to call police at 724-284-8100.10:30 p.m. Sunday — Cars driven by Corey R. Gutierrez, 22, of Butler and Christopher J. McGrady, 45, of Chicora collided on Route 8 at Clearview Mall in Center Township. Police said Gutierrez was cited for a flashing red light violation.4:30 a.m. Sunday — Marc P. Himmelwright, 27, of Harmony was arrested following a suspected assault on Crest Drive in Lancaster Township. A police news release did not immediately identify the allege victim, who suffered several injuries.Himmelwright was arraigned on charges of simple assault resisting arrest and harassment, and placed in Butler County Prison on $30,000 bail.6:30 a.m. Saturday — Brian D. Dowling, 47, was arrested after allegedly pointing a handgun at his wife, Adrianne L. Dowling, during a domestic dispute at their home in the 500 block of Unionville Road in Franklin Township.Police said the couple earlier that night got into an argument. Adrianne Dowling left the house but when she later returned, her husband “opened the door holding his loaded (pistol),” according to court documents.” He is accused of pointing the gun at his wife.When the alleged victim tried to leave again, Dowling grabbed her by the hair. He let her go after she screamed for help, police said.Dowling was arraigned on charges of aggravated assault, terroristic threats, simple assault, reckless endangerment and harassment. He was placed in Butler County Prison on $10,000 bail, following arraignment.Saturday — An unknown thief stole about 100 pounds of aluminum from the backyard of a home in the 400 block of Jamisonville Road in Center Township. The theft happened Friday or Saturday.

1 a.m. Sunday — Deanna S. Maggio, 44, was arrested after allegedly assaulting 51-year-old Michael A. Maggio during a domestic dispute at the couple's home at Woodmere Estates in Slippery Rock Township, Lawrence County. Police said the defendant hit the alleged victim in the left eye.Deanna Maggio was arraigned on charges of simple assault and harassment, and released on $1,000 unsecured bail.Police said Michael Maggio was cited for harassment.
