JEFFERSON TWP — The Concordia Summer Festival will be from noon to 6 p.m. Sunday at the Lund Care Center backyard on the Cabot campus, 148 Marwood Road.

The festival will include music and food and children's games, crafts, fishing derby and other activities.

The Rev. David Stechholz, bishop and president of the LCMS English District, will speak at 3 p.m.

A lunch will be served in the snack shop at Lund Care Center for those who lived at Concordia as children.

CRANBERRY TWP — Cranberry Library and Cranberry Township will offer an opportunity for children and adults to explore and learn about vehicles of all types from 10 to 11:30 a.m. July 30 at Cranberry Community Park.Touch-a-Truck will have emergency, construction, school buses, tow trucks, big rigs and other vehicles all in one place.Children will be allowed to touch, climb on and ask questions about their favorite vehicles in a safe, supervised environment.No registration is necessary.

Lifesteps will offer two Child Check screenings in August.• 9 a.m. to noon Aug. 4, YMCA, 339 N.
