Curtis McConnell and Courtney Johnston

An October wedding is being planned by Courtney Allison Johnston of Harrisville and Curtis James McConnell of Slippery Rock.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Boyd E. and Theresa L. Johnston Jr. of Harrisville. Parents of the prospective bridegroom are Russell J. and Yvonne K. McConnell of Slippery Rock.

The future bride is a 2012 graduate of Slippery Rock High School.

She is employed by USIS in Boyers.

Her fiance graduated in 2006 from Slippery Rock High School and in 2009 from Triangle Tech.

He is employed by Allegheny Mineral Corporation.
