They make the most of their six-acre property, maintaining chicken coops and a vegetable garden. They entered more than 100 entries in the 2013 show, placing in three-fourths of them, proving they don’t have to own a farm to be great farmers.

“You don’t have to live on a farm,” said Paul Worst, shortly after receiving the award last year.

“You can do it anywhere. You can succeed anywhere.”
