Winifred Kennedy

Winifred Kennedy of East Butler celebrated her 94th birthday with a family picnic.

The former Winifred Beatty was born July 27, 1920, in Butler. She married the late Anthony Kennedy on Aug. 20, 1946.

She has four children, Dale Kennedy of Butler, David Kennedy of Melbourne, Fla., LuAnn Cherry of Butler and Douglas Kennedy of East Butler. She also has five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Kennedy is a homemaker. She also worked for Magnetics and J.C. Penney. She had a home business with Kennedy Spices and exhibited at craft shows.

She is a member of the East Butler Presbyterian Church.
