Friday — Police charged Andrew J. Wick, 21, of Lyndora with stealing a bicycle about 2 p.m. July 21 in the 500 block of West Jefferson Street. The bike's owner, Jose Rivera, told police that he saw Wick take the bike valued at $300. Wick is charged with theft.

4 a.m. Monday — Ronald A. Moculski, 24, of Butler was arrested after allegedly stealing a chain saw, power winch and ropes from a home on Old Plank Road. Moculski was arraigned on charges of theft, receiving stolen property and possession of drug paraphernalia, and placed in the Butler County Prison on $5,000 bail.2:11 p.m. Sunday — Cars driven by Evelyn Betts, 85, and Carter Claypoole, 21, both of Butler, collided on North Main Street Extension at the CoGo's store.10:29 a.m. Sunday — Ken Hollihan, 70, of Valencia was hurt in a two-vehicle wreck on Route 8 south. The crash happened when a car collided with the pickup truck that Hollihan was driving. Hollihan was taken to Butler Memorial Hospital with minor injuries. Alexandra Yost, 23, of Butler was driving the car.Anyone who witnessed the crash is asked to call 724-285-9600.Saturday — Someone overnight broke into the Hoagie Shop on New Castle Road and stole an undisclosed amount of money. The burglar forced in a door to get inside. Anyone with information is asked to call police.11:33 a.m. Friday — Bradford Vinroe, 66, of Butler suffered minor injuries when he lost control of his vehicle and crashed into an embankment on Route 422.1:09 p.m. July 20 — Andrew Ryan, 26, of Butler was hurt when the motorcycle he was driving rear-ended a car stopped to make a left turn on North Duffy Road at Westbrook Drive.Butler Ambulance Service took Ryan to Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh with undisclosed injuries. Police cited him for driving too fast for conditions and not wearing protective eye wear.John Klabnik, 61, of Butler was the other driver.

9 a.m. Monday — A boy's bicycle was found at Grove City Memorial Park on West Main Street. The owner can claim the bike at the police station at 337 E. Pine St.Monday — Police reported that a 17-year-old suspect, who they did not identify, faces charges in connection with last month's vandalism of a truck in the 400 block of North Center Street. The teen, who is accused of breaking out a window, is charged with criminal mischief and disorderly conduct.Sunday — A small, mostly black, mixed-breed male dog was found in the 700 block of Spring Street and was turned over to police. The owner can claim it at the station.10 p.m. July 15 — A 16-year-boy allegedly attacked a female family member while they were riding in a car together on North Broad Street. The boy, who police did not identify, is charged with simple assault.Police also did not identify the alleged victim, who suffered scrapes and bruises.
