“The Fisherman,” an oil painting by Carol Volz Begley, is part of the AABC Invitational Art Show on display through Saturday at The Art Center, 344 S. Main St. The Underground Gallery at The Art Center will have a Summer Band Night from 6 to 11 p.m. Friday featuring Guard Your Heart, Scene Stage the World, Fidelity Laurel, Pressin On, 52hz, and Johnny from DotDotDot. Doors open at 6 p.m.; cover is $5. An exhibit of motorcycle-themed art and vintage motorcycles will begin Aug. 8.
