3:20 p.m. Tuesday — An unspecified amount of money and personal papers were found in the Butler Commons shopping plaza and turned over to police. The owner can claim the property by calling police at 724-285-9600.1:08 p.m. Tuesday — One person suffered a minor injury when a minivan driven by Keara Trepanier, 31, of Connoquenessing rear-ended a sport utility vehicle on New Castle Road in front of the Target store. Dean Matis, 49, of Butler was driving the SUV.A police report did not identify who was injured.8:56 a.m. Tuesday — A vehicle driven by Bobby Vance, 38, of West Sunbury struck the back of another vehicle that was stopped on East Jefferson Street at Delwood Road. Heidi Coyle, 39, of Petrolia was the other driver.3:26 p.m. Monday — A child riding a bicycle was taken to Butler Memorial Hospital with undisclosed injuries after being hit by a car in the 300 block of Whitestown Road. Authorities did not identify the 14-year-old child, who “rode directly in front of” the vehicle.Jordan English, 26, of Butler, who was driving the car, was not charged in the accident.

7:27 p.m. Friday — Penny Jo Ramp, 44, of Grove City faces three traffic tickets stemming from a suspected hit-and-run crash on Kinder Avenue near West Main Street.Police said Ramp drove her car onto the sidewalk before crossing the road and hitting a stopped vehicle driven by Kristi Hannon, no age given, of Grove City. Following the collision, Ramp left the scene without providing information.According to a police report, Ramp faces citations for hit-and-run, reckless driving and driving on a sidewalk.

4:38 p.m. Wednesday — Cars driven by Karen J. Clark of Fombell, Beaver County, and Klaressa L. McGill, 49, of Butler collided on Route 19 just north of Adams Lane in Portersville. Clark faces a ticket for an undisclosed traffic violation.11:17 a.m. Wednesday — A 52-year-old man reported that his dark red, 2006 Harley-Davidson motorcycle is missing. The owner told police that he let a friend use the cycle but it was not returned.Anyone with information about the motorcycle's whereabouts is asked to call police at 724-284-8100.

11:30 a.m. Tuesday — Two people were hurt in a two-vehicle wreck in Slippery Rock Township, Lawrence County. The crash happened when a car driven by Gabriel J. Boron and a sport utility vehicle driven by Jennifer L. Sankey, 36, both of New Castle, collided at Ellwood and Baptist roads.Both drivers were taken to Ellwood City Hospital with moderate injuries. Both were wearing seat belts. Boron was cited for a stop sign violation.1:59 p.m. July 21 — A pickup truck driven by Marc E. Brozovich, 38, of Wexford was rear-ended by a car on Interstate 376 just east of Route 208 in Pulaski Township. The other driver, Toryan L. Respress, 19, of New Castle, suffered a minor injury. Respress was cited for careless driving.
