Helen Cote

Helen L. Cote, 102, of Butler passed away Sunday at Concordia Good Samaritan Hospice, Cabot.

Born on Aug. 8, 1911, in Butler, she was a daughter of the late John and Catherine Solon Zambiski.

She was retired from General Motors in Michigan where she worked in the seat belt manufacturing department.

She was a member of the St. John the Baptist Byzantine Catholic Church, Lyndora, where she was a member of the Ladies Guild. She was a member of American Legion Auxiliary Post 778 and the Tanglewood Center.

Surviving are her grandson, Michael (Analee); her granddaughter, Catherine (Mickey); her great-grand daughter, Samantha (William), and her two great-great-grandsons, Billy and Dylan, all of St. Clair Shores, Mich. She is also survived by her sister, Josephine Sychak of Butler.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph A. Cote, who passed away in 1954; her son and his wife; one grandson; four brothers, and five sisters.

Cunningham St., Butler, with the Rev. Leo Schlosser, pastor of the St. John the Baptist Byzantine Catholic Church, officiating.
