Dora Nicklas

Dora Marie Critchlow Nicklas of Evans City celebrated her 90th birthday with a family dinner.

The former Dora Critchlow was born Aug. 18, 1924, in Renfrew. She married the late Orlando C. “Nick” Nicklas on Jan .25, 1946, in Pittsburgh.

She has four daughters, Sandra Wiltse of Butler, Sally Nicklas of Evans City, Kathy (Corb) Stewart of Meridian and the late Cindy Nicklas.

She also has three grandsons, a great-granddaughter and a great-grandson.

Nicklas has been an Avon representative for 61 years. She is a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Meridian.

She enjoys spending time with her grandchildren, neighbors and friends; family gatherings; and puzzle books.
