Hilliard, 31, of Butler was charged with retail theft after she allegedly took $130 worth of merchandise from Walmart at Butler Commons.10:32 p.m. Aug. 9 — Terri Haney, 40, of Portersville and Gary Zgoda, 53, of Portersville were charged with retail theft after allegedly stealing $722 worth of merchandise from Walmart at Butler Commons.

State Police, Butler8:56 p.m. Tuesday — A pickup truck driven by Ryan S. Martin, 23, of Saxonburg crashed along Knoch Road while trying to avoid stopped traffic at the crest of a hill.Martin was cited for driving at an unsafe speed.Tuesday — Scott Bailey Jr., 21, of Butler was charged with DUI and driving with a suspended license following a traffic stop along West Penn Street in Butler.Police said Bailey showed signs of intoxication during the traffic stop and was administered a breath test.

State Police, Mercer9 p.m. Aug. 6 — An unknown suspect removed $500 from a cash register at Auntie Anne's Pretzel Restaurant along Leesburg-Grove City Road in Springfield Township and left the scene in an unknown direction.The investigation is ongoing.
