SR girls edge Wilmington, 3-2

Bailey Boyd scored a goal and added an assist and Abby Magliocca and Elena McDermott also scored as the Slippery Rock girls soccer team edged Wilmington 3-2 Thursday afternoon.

Jenny Dudek and Lilly Wetzel also had assists for the Rockets (1-1).

Knoch 4, Indiana 0 — Kaelyn Oskin scored three goals and Allie Gore also found the net as the Knights (2-1, 1-0) dismantled Indiana.

Kris Matus, Ben Andrews, Jon Michael Lambert, Val Panger and Nick Kadunce all scored goals for Knoch (3-1, 2-0) in a 5-0 victory over Highlands.Shady Side Academy 1, Freeport 0 — Goalkeeper Austin Uric had nine saves for the Yellowjackets, but the offense couldn't find the net.Shady Side Academy scored its lone goal in the 10th minute to drop Freeport (1-2, 0-2).Fairview 2, Slippery Rock 1 — Nate Popejoy scored the lone goal for the Rockets (1-1).Fariview scored the go-ahead goal with 13 minutes remaining in the second half.
