Butler's Chloe Bowser heads the ball to a teammate over North Allegheny's Savana Yurick at Butler Intermediate High School on Monday night. The Golden Tornado lost the game, 3-2, falling to 1-3 overall, 1-1 in section play.

Maddie Abriatis set up Kaelyn Oskin for the winning goal with 12 minutes remaining to help Knoch defeat Valley 3-2 in a Section 2-AA girls soccer game Monday night at Knoch.

Oskin scored twice and Marley Gordon added a goal for the Knights (4-1, 3-0).

Karns City 7, Redbank Valley 0 — Emily LoPresti scored a game-high four goals to lead the Gremlins (3-0, 2-0) to a UAVSL-South win.

Brianna Brusamonti, Haley Smith and Chelsey Dodds also scored for Karns City.

Freeport 4, Highlands 2 — Hannah Stokes tallied a pair of goals to spark the Yellowjackets to a win over the Golden Rams.

Megan Manke and Kaylee Comperatore both added a goal for Freeport (3-1-1).

Raine Carney tallied four saves to earn the win in net.

Slippery Rock 9, Sharon 0 — Jenny Dudek scored a hat trick and added an assist to help the Rockets in a non-region game.

Molly Joyce and Abby Magiocca also scored twice and added assists for the Rockets (2-1).

Bailey Boyd and Elena McDermott also scored for Slippery Rock, while Laura Fisher had an assist.

Union cruised to a 3-0 sweep over Clarion-Limestone by scores of 25-22, 25-12 and 25-15.Lexey Shick tallied seven digs for the Damsels, Eiley McGregor and Taylor Adams both added five kills and Kali Flick six aces.
