Gail and Rodney Scott

Rodney and Gail Scott of Herman celebrated 50 years of marriage with a Mass at St. Mary of the Assumption Roman Catholic Church in Herman followed by dinner with family and a backyard picnic with friends.

Scott married the former Gail Collins on Aug. 29, 1964, at St. Mary of the Assumption Church.

They have two sons, Russ (Julie) Scott of Herman and Eugene “Beaner” (Jen) Scott of Herman.

They also have five grandchildren.

Scott retired from Armco after 38 years.

Mrs. Scott is a homemaker.

The Scotts are members of St. Mary of the Assumption Church.
