Carolyn and George Pyle

George E. and Carolyn L. Pyle of Butler celebrated 50 years of marriage with a bed and breakfast stay and personal tour in Gettysburg given to them by their family.

Pyle married the former Carolyn L. Dietrich on Aug. 29, 1964, at the United Presbyterian Church in Prospect.

They have two children, Deborah Wolfe of Prospect and Michael Pyle of Butler. They also have two grandsons.

Pyle retired from Armco. Mrs. Pyle is a homemaker.

The Pyles are members of the Portersville Christian and Missionary Alliance Church.
