Virginia Birckbichler

Virginia Birckbichler of Butler celebrated her 90th birthday with her family at the Gathering Spot in Butler.

The former Virginia Weiland was born Aug. 28, 1924, in Butler. She married the late Thomas Birckbichler on May 1, 1946, at St. Wendelin Roman Catholic Church.

She has four children, the late Thomas Birckbichler, Richard (Jane) Birckbichler of Florida, Roy (Denise) Birckbichler of North Carolina and Rosemary Mason of Arizona. She also has 12 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Birckbichler retired from the department of public welfare in Butler. She is a member of St. Wendelin Roman Catholic Church.
