Hovis, Titler
Kristy Hovis and Joe Titler, both of Butler, were united in marriage July 26 at St. Peter Roman Catholic Church in Butler. The Rev. Kevin Fazio officiated. A reception followed at the White Barn.
The bride is the daughter of Ronald and Beverly Hovis of Butler. Parents of the bridegroom are Timothy and Patricia Titler of Butler.
The honor attendant was Lori Hovis of Butler. Bridesmaids included Amanda Gleixner of Pittsburgh and Renee Titler of Ross Township, Allegheny County.
The flower girl was Ella Titler of Ross Township.
Performing the duties of best man was Josh Titler of Ross Township. Ushers included Nate Hinterberger of Buffalo, N.Y., and Dan Gleixner of Pittsburgh.
The bride is a 2008 graduate of Butler High School and a 2012 graduate of Clarion University.
She is a middle school teacher in Erie.
The bridegroom graduated from Butler High School in 2007. He graduated from Slippery Rock University in 2012.
He is employed in Erie.
Following a honeymoon trip to Riviera Maya, the couple is making their home in Erie.
