Saturday — An unknown vandal between midnight and 2 a.m. flattened all four tires on a white, Chevrolet Sonic parked at the rear of the Bon Aire Plaza on North Main Street Extension.

1:24 a.m. Tuesday — Jonathan Traver, 37, of Slippery Rock allegedly damaged two vehicles while violating a protection from abuse order at a home in the 300 block of West Cooper Street in Slippery Rock.Saturday — A vandal cut 25 feet of utility cable from a tree at a 47-year-old man's home on Hufnagel Road in Muddy Creek Township. The vandalism happened between noon Thursday and 5:30 p.m. Saturday.

4:17 p.m. Sunday — Two Ford City teenagers were among four people hurt when the vehicle they were riding in crashed at Kelly Station Dam in Bethel Township.Taken to ACMH Hospital in East Franklin Township with undisclosed injuries was a 16-year-old Ford City girl, who police did not identify; Shelby Taylor, 18, of Ford City; Eric Stollenwerk, 19, of Leechburg; and Rebecca Simpson, 19, of Vandergrift.

6:52 a.m. Tuesday — Robert V. Schoen Jr., 23, of Slippery Rock was hurt when he lost control of his pickup truck while passing another vehicle and crashed on North Liberty Road in Liberty Township, Mercer County. The pickup spun around and hit one tree with its front end before hitting a second tree with its back end about one-half mile south of Schmidt Road.Schoen, who was wearing a seat belt, suffered minor injuries. He was cited for a lane violation.12:54 p.m. Monday — A car driven by Aaron M. Miller, 42, of Mercer and a pickup driven by Craig A. Zacherl, 46, of Venus, Venango County, collided at Route 208 and Diamond Road in Pine Township, Mercer County. Miller was cited for a stop sign violation.Sept. 8 — An undisclosed amount of money was stolen in a suspected short-change scam at the Eat'n Park restaurant on Leesburg Grove City Road in Springfield Township. Anyone with information is asked to call police at 724-662-6162.
