Marley Gordon tallied a hat trick to spur the Knoch girls soccer team to a 6-4 home win over Highlands on Monday.

Kaelyn Oskin added two goals for the Knights (9-4, 7-2) and Saige Robertson one. Maddie Abriatis contributed three assists.

Freeport 4, Deer Lakes 0 — The Yellowjackets (8-4-2, 6-2-2) got two goals from Kaylee Comporatore and one apiece from Macy Crytzer and Olivia Gaspersic.

Cassie Suran made one save in the shutout.

Mars 9, Burrell 0 — The Planets (11-1 overall) improved their Section 2-AA record to 9-0 by overwhelming the Bucs.

Dillon Wright, Erin Posey and Tori Kopchak each scored twice while Casey Merritt, Kaitlyn McKenzie and Isabel Wroblewski all tallied one score.

Goalkeepers Sydney Edwards and Sammy Papik shared the shutout.

Boys SoccerCole Ferguson set up Noah Hudac for the game-winning goal in Mars' 2-0 non-section win over North Allegheny.Cory Ferguson also scored on a diving header for the Planets (13-0) on an assist from Kyle Nymberg.
