In loving memory of Scott L. McMillin who found Heaven’s Gate 17 years ago on October 19, 1997.

I was the last one to say Good-Bye to you that cold Fall night You gave me a hug and a kiss and said “see you in the morning Ma.”

Morning came to our home but you did not, I have relived that moment for 17 years, and it hurts as much as it did that night the troopers came to tell Dad and I that you were gone.

We had to go and break your sister and brother’s hearts.

So many hearts broke that morning, so many tears. Dear God this can’t be true, why did he have to die?

Scotty we still need and miss you and we are sorry our love could not have saved you. Time doesn’t mend our broken hearts or stop our tears.

We will never forget you Ba,

we love our #3.
