Doc's trial to go on despite charges
PITTSBURGH — Raymond Burg, owner of Burg’s in the Burgh, has been jailed on charges he assaulted his girlfriend, Lisa Pellegrini. She is the lead prosecutor in the homicide trial of Dr. Robert Ferrante accused of poisoning his wife. The Allegheny County district attorney’s office says the charges against Burg should not delay the trial, which begins Tuesday.
