Martha and William Smith

William A. and Martha Smith of Slippery Rock celebrated 50 years of marriage.

Smith married the former Martha Link on Oct. 19, 1964, in Winchester, Va.

They have two children, Debbie deVries of Evans City and Bill Smith of Slippery Rock.

They also have five grandchildren.

Smith retired from the U.S. Postal Service.

Mrs. Smith is a homemaker and worked at Butler Memorial Hospital for 10 years.

The Smiths are members of Bethel Presbyterian Church in Slippery Rock.
