Kovalchick 91st birthday
Frances L. Kovalchick of East Butler celebrated her 91st birthday with a family trip to Disney World.
The former Frances Zbuckvich was born Oct. 12, 1923, in Sykesville. She married the late George A. Kovalchick on June 27, 1942, at St. Mary’s Byzantine Catholic Church in Sagamore.
She is the mother of seven children, Georgiann Maitland of Butler, Carolyn Kovalchick-Wilkinson of Pittsburgh, Frances (John) Vissari of Butler, Karen Kovalchick of Butler, Stephanie Ragan of Albuquerque, N.M., George G. (Kay) Kovalchick of Butler and her infant son, George Stephen, who is deceased.
She also has eight grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Kovalchick is a homemaker.
She is a member of St. John the Baptist Byzantine Catholic Church in Lyndora and the women’s guild of the church.
