12:50 p.m. Saturday — Michael P. Oliver, 28, no known address, was arrested after he showed up intoxicated at a woman's home in the 200 block of Howard Street and refused to leave.Oliver was arraigned on charges of defiant trespass, disorderly conduct and public drunkenness. He was placed in the Butler County Prison on $5,000 bail following arraignment

Monday — Police charged Dina Nicole Flint, 27, of Butler in connection with a stolen money order she allegedly gave to someone else to cash on her behalf Aug. 20 at Woodforest National Bank, Butler Commons.Flint is charged with forgery and receiving stolen property.Sunday — An unknown vandal painted graffiti on the Alameda Park pool playground and rest room. The vandalism happened between Friday and Sunday. Anyone with information is asked to call police at 724-285-9600.6:44 p.m. Saturday — A truck driven by Diego Armstrong, 27, of Butler collided with another vehicle on Mercer Road near Aubrey Drive. Michael McPherson, 25, of Butler was the other driver.10:18 a.m. Friday — Kenneth Smaretsky, 70, of Butler was hurt when he lost control of his car and hit a cement pole at the Butler Commons shopping plaza. Smaretsky was treated at Butler Memorial Hospital for a cut to his head.

Friday — Police recovered an abandoned bicycle at the corner of East Pine and Harvard streets. The owner can claim the bike at the police station, 337 E. Pine St.

11:55 p.m. Saturday — Dennis Lee Shay, 52, of Evans City was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence on Route 422 near Bonniebrook Road in Summit Township.11:31 p.m. Saturday — Melissa L. Leviere, 38, of Harmony was arrested for suspicion of DUI after she lost control of her sport utility vehicle and crashed into a large ditch on Route 58 a little east of Foxburg Road in Allegheny Township. Emlenton volunteer firefighters assisted police at the scene.1:08 a.m. Saturday — Zachary Guckert, 21, of West View, Allegheny County, was arrested for suspected drunken driving and simple assault after he allegedly punched a security guard in the face before driving away from the University Village Apartments in Slippery Rock Township.8:10 a.m. Thursday — A sport utility vehicle driven by Jon A. Fair, 45, of Petrolia struck a deer on Route 422 just west of Moran Road in Clearfield Township.Thursday — An unknown archer shot an arrow that struck the side of a garage in the 200 block of Main Street in Connoquenessing. The arrow hit the garage about 7 feet above the ground. The incident happened between 12:01 a.m. and 3 p.m.Oct. 12 — Two racing motorcycles were stolen overnight from the back of a pickup truck in the 100 block of Freeport Road in Summit Township. The cycles are both red and black. One is a 2005 Honda CRF250R, valued at $2,000; the other is a 2004 Honda CRF150F, valued at $1,000.Anyone with information about the theft or the whereabouts of the motorcycles is asked to call police at 724-284-8100.

10:45 a.m. Friday — Sandra D. Falsetti, 45, of Ford City was hurt when the sport utility vehicle she was driving rear-ended a pickup truck on Route 66 just east of Route 422 in Manor Township.Falsetti, who was not wearing a seat belt, was taken to UPMC Presbyterian hospital in Pittsburgh with moderate injuries. Police said she was cited for driving too closely to another vehicle. Larry C. Piper, 68, of Sligo was the other driver.7:32 a.m. Friday — Daniel Alexander Edmunds Jr., 21, of Sarver was arrested after he allegedly slapped, punched and choked a 55-year-old woman at a home on Ridgeview Road in South Buffalo Township.Police said the suspect also threatened the woman and a 19-year-old man who was also at the house.Edmunds is charged with simple assault, terroristic threats, resisting arrest and harassment.
