The Associated Artists of Butler County will have a reception and candlelight vigil from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday to coincide with an exhibit representing the hardship and healing of those affected by domestic violence. The exhibit will continue through Nov. 1. The annual Nature and Wildlife Show will run Nov. 7 to 28. Walk-in art classes are being held from 10 a.m. to noon Saturdays in October. Saxonburg Area Artists Cooperative, 215 W. Main St. rear, Saxonburg, is presenting colored pencil drawings by Mary Strehl through Nov. 1. Admission is free. Gallery hours are noon to 8 p.m. Fridays and 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturdays. Call 412-260-5779.

PITTSBURGH

Carnegie Museum of Art, 4400 Forbes Ave., hosts the exhibition “Teenie Harris Photographs: Civil Rights Perspectives” through March 31. Admission is $17.95 for adults, $14.95 for senior citizens, $11.95 for children ages 3 to 18, and free for children younger than 3. Admission after 4 p.m. on Thursdays is discounted.
