5:15 p.m. Monday — A sibling fight ended with charges against both brother and sister at the family's home on Third Avenue.Christopher A. O'Malley, 21, and Stephanie M. O'Malley, 19, got into a verbal argument that eventually turned physical, according to court documents. The suspects struck one another but their mother was unable to tell police who threw the first punch.Neither sibling was injured. Both were charged with misdemeanor disorderly conduct.

Wednesday — Police arrested Jessica L. Cartwright, 34, of Chicora on a warrant stemming from a disabled vehicle call last month on the Route 422 exit ramp to Route 8.Officers about 2:05 a.m. Sept. 29 found Cartwright with her broken down car. Police eventually searched her car and found three oxycodone pills, for which she did not have a prescription, court documents said.She is charged with possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia.

5:40 p.m. Monday — Nathan K. Frndak, 33, and his girlfriend, Audry R. Behe, 26, were arrested after police were called to their home on Ekastown Road in Clinton Township to check on the welfare of Behe's 10-year-old son.The boy had bruising and swelling on his face that appeared to be from suspected child abuse, according to court documents.A Butler County Children and Youth Services caseworker later assisted in the investigation.Police subsequently arrested Frndak and Behe on charges of simple assault, child endangerment and harassment. Following arraignment, each suspect was placed in the Butler County Prison on $10,000 bail.

9:49 p.m. Thursday — Alcohol is a suspected factor in a one-car crash with a house that left three people injured in East Franklin Township. The wreck happened when Travis M. Confer, 21, of Kittanning lost control of his car on East Brady Road and ran into the corner of a house.The vehicle, a 2006 Hyundai Sonata, rolled into the living room of the occupied house, a police report said. The car ended on its roof, injuring two people who were in the living room.One of the home's occupants, a 46-year-old woman, was flown by medical helicopter to UPMC Presbyterian hospital in Pittsburgh with head injuries. A 25-year-old man in the house suffered minor cuts to his back and arms.Confer also was flown by medical helicopter to UPMC Presbyterian with neck injuries and minor cuts.Police did not identify the home's occupants. The conditions of the injured were not known this morning. Police said their investigation continues.2:05 a.m. Thursday — An unknown driver led police on a chase through several roads in East Franklin Township.Troopers were initially called to the Franklin Village shopping plaza for a report of someone speeding in a utility terrain vehicle (UTV) and shining spotlights into vehicles in the parking lot.Police tried to stop the vehicle on Parkview Drive but the driver sped away. The chase continued onto Pleasant Valley Drive, Butler Road, Heritage Park Drive, through the West Hills Elementary School parking lot, Lemon Hollow Road and Route 268.The vehicle eventually traveled into a wooded area off Furnace Road, and got away.But soon after, a police report said, the vehicle was spotted on Cedar Drive, which prompted a second chase. The driver of the UTV followed the similar route as the first chase and drove through the same wooded area.The suspect vehicle is described as red and silver with a black roll cage. Anyone with information is asked to call police at 724-543-2011.
