Raymond G. Staugh

Raymond G. Staugh, 68, of Cabot passed away Friday at his home following an illness.

Born Sept. 6, 1946, in Kittanning, he was a son of the late Richard and Mary Peters Staugh.

He was employed by Butler Fabricating in the welding and fabricating department, along with driving trucks for the company.

He enjoyed NASCAR and watching old movies.

He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy.

He was a member of St. Paul Roman Catholic Church in Butler. He was a lifetime member of the American Legion Post 117 in Butler. He also a member of the Masons, the Shriners and the VFW Post 2876 in Chicora.

Surviving are his wife, Deborah S. Smith Staugh, whom he married May 4, 1968; one son, Richard H. (Julie) Staugh of Butler; three grandchildren, Kristen Rae (Nick) Cress of Butler, and Sasha Marie and Aleah Staugh, both of Butler; three step-grandchildren, Kayla Rose, Carlie R. and Levi G. Gallagher, all of Butler; one brother, Richard J. (Jan) Staugh of Chicora; one sister, MaryAnn (Dennis) Shook of Butler; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one daughter, Tammy L. Staugh, who passed away Feb. 25, 1977, and one sister, Nancy Fair.

STAUGH — Friends of Raymond G. Staugh, who died Friday, Oct. 25, 2014, will be received at the Geibel Funeral Home, 201 E. Cunningham St., Butler from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday.A blessing service will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.Interment will follow at Greenlawn Cemetery in Butler.
