1:15 a.m. Sunday — Michael Gary Watt, 38, of Lyndora was arrested on an outstanding warrant and cited for public drunkenness after police found him sleeping on the ground by the South Main Street bridge.2:36 p.m. Saturday — Melodie Maria Essig, 29, and David Andrew Morrow, 31, both of Slippery Rock, were charged with possession with the intent to use drug paraphernalia after police found two empty heroin stamp bags and a bandanna rolled up for use as a tourniquet by a tree where they were standing and a lighter and an empty stamp bag in Essig's possession.2:06 p.m. Saturday — A pickup driven by Darrell L. Elliott, 56, of Butler and a car driven by Robert Collins, 53, of Butler collided on Hansen Avenue while they were both northbound.2:04 a.m. Saturday — Christopher Armstrong, 30, who has no known address, was charged with criminal trespass, receiving stolen property, possession of a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance and use with intent to use drug paraphernalia after police found him near the first base bleachers in Kelly Automotive Park. Police found two Carisoprodol pills (muscle relaxant), three empty stamp bags, 17 syringes, five cooking spoons with residue and a Garmin GPS stolen from a Butler resident in Armstrong's backpack.

5:47 a.m. Sunday — A pickup with an unknown driver and a car driven by Lance Budway, 61, of Slippery Rock collided at the intersection of North Main Street and Mahood Road in Center Township. The pickup driver, described as being a white male in his 50s with short brown hair and medium build, left the scene before providing his driver's information.Saturday — Two gas cans were stolen from the property of Robert Critchlow on Critchlow Lane in Jefferson Township between 8 a.m. Thursday and 5 p.m. Saturday.

9:26 p.m. Oct. 18 — A car driven by Evan Downing, 18, of New Castle hit a tree along Tower Road in Springfield Township before stopping in the middle of the road. Downing, who received minor injuries, was cited for not staying in the road's lane.

Thursday — Three windows at Mount Herman Presbyterian Church on Frew Mill Road in Slippery Rock Township were broken using golf balls between Oct. 19 and 23.Oct. 17 — A black-and-silver Daisy 93 BB gun pistol was found along Princeton Road in Slippery Rock Township. To reclaim the gun, call police at 724-598-2211.

11:40 a.m. Sunday — A car driven by Janice Prueitt, 74, of Berwick, Columbia County, struck the rear of a vehicle driven by Shannan Goheen, 32, of Shippenville in Clarion County that was stopped at the exit ramp of Interstate 80 in Barkeyville. Prueitt was cited for careless driving.
