Shirley and Owen Williams

Owen and Shirley Williams of Butler celebrated 65 years of marriage with a family dinner at the Fieldhouse in Cabot.

Williams married the former Shirley Kennedy on Oct. 25, 1949, in Butler.

They have five children, Cheryl of Harrisburg, Lawrence (Terry) of Valencia, Calif., Robert (Kelley) of Murrieta, Calif., Grant (Debbie) of Butler and Mark (Sandy) of Gibsonia.

They also have seven grandchildren.

Williams is the retired chairman of the board of Sportsman’s Supply and Sport Shack.

He has been a member of Masonic Lodge 1 in Wheeling, W. Va., for more than 60 years.

Mrs. Williams is a homemaker.
