Portion of Route 288 will close for repairs
ZELIENOPLE — Route 288 between Clay and New Castle streets will close at 6 a.m. Saturday for repairs to the railroad crossing.
The section of the road will remain closed until work is done Tuesday morning, the state Department of Transportation announced this morning.
A detour will be in place using Route 488 to Route 19, then back to Route 288.
A contractor for the Buffalo & Pittsburgh Railroad will do the work.
