The Girl Scouts of Western Pennsylvania presented Halie Jackman of Troop 21968 with her Girl Scout Gold Award, the highest award for Girl Scouts. She also earned her Silver and Bronze Awards during her 12 years as a Girl Scout.

Halie earned her Gold Award by establishing an educational and environmentally friendly plan for the Fishbone Ministries Youth Group Center. She led volunteers as they landscaped the area and planted flowers. She assisted in giving the participants lessons in caring for flowers and plants.

Halie lives in Butler with her parents Jim and Lisa Jackman.
