Robert D. Groves, 84, of Chicora passed away Friday at the Chicora Medical Center.

He was born Aug. 13, 1930, in Grove City, the son of George K. and Violet Mae (Eisenhuth) Groves.

Robert worked for many years at LTV Steel as a mill supervisor.

He enjoyed watching football, especially the Pittsburgh Steelers.

He is survived by his sister, Donna Lee Groves of Chicora, and was preceded in death by his parents.

GROVES — Family and friends of Robert D. Groves, who died Friday, Nov. 14, 2014, will be received from 2 to 6 p.m. today at Bauer-Hillis Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 102 S. Argyle St., Petrolia.Additional visitation will be from noon until the time of funeral services at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home with the Rev. Robert R. Pascoe officiating.
