Paul “Jay” and Catherine Baker

Paul “Jay” and Catherine A. Cray Baker of Butler celebrated 60 years of marriage with family and friends at a surprise dinner at the Italian Club.

Baker married the former Catherine Cray on Aug. 28, 1954, at St. Mary Roman Catholic Church in New Castle.

They have two children, Cathy Baker and John F. Baker, both of Butler.

They also have two granddaughters.

Baker retired from Armco after 42 years.

He is a member of American Legion Post 117, AARP and the Italian Club. He enjoys playing cards.

Mrs. Baker is a homemaker.

She is also a member of American Legion Post 117, AARP and the Italian Club. She likes to play cards and bingo.

The Bakers are members of St. Andrew Roman Catholic Church.
