3:10 p.m. Tuesday — Alisha Weisenstein, 18, no known address, was arrested after she allegedly assaulted a 16-year-old Butler girl.The girl told police she was walking to school when Weisenstein jumped her in front of the Huddle Lounge on West Cunningham Street. She said the suspect punched her in the head and kneed her in the chest and face as she was bent over, according to court documents.The alleged attack continued even after the girl fell to the ground. Police reviewed surveillance video at the scene that corroborated the girl's account that she was the victim of an unprovoked attack, documents said.Weisenstein was arraigned on a charge of simple assault and released on non-monetary bail.4:27 p.m. Monday — Cars driven by Burton F. Kelly III, 27, of Brady Township and Nickolas R. Ferguson, 24, of Center Township collided at Hansen Avenue and Pillow Street.Monday — An arrest warrant was issued for Dennis D. Frketich Jr., 26, of Butler on felony drug charges after police found boxes belonging to him that contained more than two pounds of suspected marijuana.The case began when police were called shortly before 8 p.m. to the 500 block of East Brady Street for a reported domestic dispute between the defendant and Sabrina Guthrie, according to court documents.No charges were filed in connection with the domestic. But after Frketich left, Guthrie told officers that she had seen him carry two shoe boxes outside. Police checked around the home and found the boxes. Inside, documents said, were bags of suspected marijuana.The weight, about 2.15 pounds, “indicates that Frketich possessed the marijuana with an intent to (sell),” a police affidavit said.The defendant is charged with felony and misdemeanor drug possession.

7:52 p.m. Saturday — James T. Matuke III, 25, of Butler was arrested after he allegedly broke into a garage at a detached home on Grove Avenue in a failed bid to evade police who were seeking him on a warrant.Matuke was arraigned on charges of burglary, trespass, resisting arrest, loitering and prowling at night, disorderly conduct, and possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia. He is being held in Butler County Prison on $15,000 bail.

7:55 a.m. Tuesday — A silver, 2009 GMC Arcadia was stolen from the front of a home in the Saxony Estates mobile home park in Jefferson Township. The sport utility vehicle, owned by a 23-year-old Valencia woman, bears the Pennsylvania license plate GRS5212.Anyone with information about the theft is asked to call police at 724-284-8100.Monday — Christopher R. Martinkovich, 26, of West Sunbury was arrested on charges he stole the inspection sticker off his girlfriend's car at Sunset Court in Jackson Township. Police said he placed the sticker on his truck.Martinkovich was arraigned on misdemeanor charges of using altered, forged or counterfeit documents, obtaining an inspection sticker without valid proof of insurance, theft from a vehicle and receiving stolen property.Additionally, he was cited for displaying an unauthorized inspection sticker, driving a vehicle without valid inspection and displaying a stolen inspection sticker. He is free on $1,000 unsecured bail.Nov. 13 — An unknown thief stole a Moultrie trail camera that was in woods behind a 46-year-old man's home on New Hope Road in Cherry Township. The camera, valued at $150, was taken between Nov. 10 and 13.

Sunday — A 62-year-old Ford City man reported that he lost his 9 mm pistol on Peary Road in Bethel Township. He believed he lost the handgun, a Heritage Arms Stealth model, between Nov. 13 and Sunday.
